This month we’re celebrating the launch of several exciting programs that have already begun and we’re looking ahead to continuing them next semester as well

Cafe Ivrit - Off to a Great Start!

We’re thrilled to share that our Cafe Ivrit program has officially begun!
Our first session this week was absolutely wonderful. Great energy, meaningful conversation and a real sense that something special is starting.
I’m already looking forward to continuing this program with you all next semester, diving deeper into spoken Hebrew, culture and real-life conversations.

Birthright - Registration Is Open (and Almost Full!)

Within just two days, about 80% of the spots for the Birthright Israel trip were filled!
If you’re thinking about joining this incredible 10-day experience - now is the moment!
Registration is still open for the last remaining spots and I’m here for any questions, worries, or hesitations you may have.
You’re always welcome to reach out - I’d be happy to help.

To our amazing students heading out on the Winter Birthright trip:
Have a safe flight and an unforgettable journey!

And to those traveling to Israel independently, outside of Birthright -
Wishing you a smooth, safe and meaningful trip as well.

I can’t wait to hear all about it!

Kol Yisrael - A New Six-Week Learning Series

Next semester, we’re launching “Kol Yisrael”, a six-week learning series dedicated to exploring the diverse communities that make up Israel’s rich social mosaic.

The name Kol Yisrael reflects the program’s purpose:
Kol (כל) - “all” representing the aspiration to widen the tent, bring in more voices and cultivate resilient empathy for a broad range of narratives.
Kol (קול) - “voice” because throughout the series we will elevate authentic Israeli voices through contemporary case studies and personal stories.

Throughout this program, we’ll examine how different ethnic and cultural groups in Israel navigate their unique identities alongside a shared Israeli identity. We’ll explore questions such as: How does a collective identity interact with newcomers who bring distinct narratives of their own? How do marginalized groups claim their place within a nation’s broader story? How can religious minorities gain recognition without compromising tradition?
This is a special opportunity to learn, explore and engage deeply with the complexity of Israeli society.

Wishing You a Wonderful Winter Break!

I wish each and every one of you a relaxing, fun and restorative winter break.
I’m already excited to see you all again next semester!
