The semester is officially underway and it was so great to see everyone again at the semester kickoff bonfire. Catching up, hanging out and spending the evening together by the fire made it the perfect way to start the term. I missed you guys!

Café Ivrit
Our Café Ivrit is off to an awesome start and we’ve already had three great sessions that I’ve really enjoyed.
In our first class we focused on introducing ourselves in Hebrew. The second session was all about Israeli slang and for our most recent meeting, in honor of Tu Be’shvat, we made a fruit salad together while learning new Hebrew words connected to the holiday.
I’m already looking forward to the next sessions..
Yalla Balagan!

Tu Bishvat
This Tu Bishvat was extra special for me. I had the chance to share traditions from the Bnei Israel community, including the Malida ceremony and my own family customs. It was a really meaningful moment of connection and learning and I loved being able to share a personal part of my story with the group.

Snow Day
And finally, I just wanted to appreciate the snow! About two weeks ago, we got snow in town and it was such a special experience. Playing in the snow, laughing and even getting into a snowball fight made for a fun and memorable winter moment.
