“From the moment I first walked into Chabad at the University of South Carolina, I immediately felt a strong sense of warmth and hospitality. It quickly became a place where I could meet and connect with so many great people from different grades, backgrounds, and cultures, which made it feel really welcoming. Throughout the year, holidays like Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Purim, and Chanukah were celebrated with tons of fun events, so there was always something going on and never a dull moment (even though I’m still sad I missed an amazing sourdough bake). I also got to be part of the 10-week Sinai Scholars program, where I learned a lot about Jewish history, Morality, Marriage, and important values in Judaism. As I get ready to transfer to the University of Georgia, I know I’m really going to miss the memories, the events, the welcoming environment, and of course, the great food at Chabad of South Carolina.”
